Adults can also enjoy milkshakes and there are few as good as a South African Dom Pedro cocktail. Often seen on restaurant menus alongside Irish coffee, it’s usually enjoyed after dinner but you can make it whenever you want to. Also, it’s an iced drink instead of the warm fuzziness of the Irish Coffee, perfect for South Africans who always have good weather.
Amarula will be your main cream liqueur but because you’re adding quite a bit of the alcoholic drink, you can mix it with Kahlua, Bailey’s and even some of your favourite whiskey. It’s a great milkshake to enjoy late at night or during the day with your friends. It can be quite strong, so you won’t care if anybody calls it “Dom” or “Don” Pedro.
