One of the best parts of South Africa is that we welcome people from all over the world and celebrate each other with lots of great food. We might have the boerewors roll but with it being July 4th, it’s time to celebrate our American friends and their Independence Day with a classic hot dog, but we are experiencing winter, so we’re making air fryer hot dogs.
Get some high-quality Frankfurters and fresh hot dog buns to start with and follow the simple recipe in the video. The fun happens with the toppings. You can go classic with some ketchup and mustard topped with raw chopped onions. However, there is much more you can do like adding a homemade tomato relish, chili con carne or even a combination of all of them. The choice is yours!
