Sweet From Heaven: Peanut Butter and Chocolate Treats

This one is for all peanut butter lovers! You won’t be able to stop eating these delicious peanut butter filled chocolate cups.

Do you love Reese’s peanut butter cups? Now you can make your own at home using only three ingredients. They taste just as good, if not better!

You can use any chocolate of your choice – even white chocolate for extra sweetness.

If you don’t have cupcake liners on hand, you can use a silicon muffin tray. Or even just roll the peanut butter mixture into balls and dip into the chocolate.

  • 3 tablespoons icing sugar, sifted

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 90 grams chocolate of your choice, melted (1 slab)


  • Prepare a muffin tray with cupcake liners.
  • Stir peanut butter, vanilla essence and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals
  • Spread one tablespoon of chocolate in the bottom of each cupcake liner, and swirl around to cover the sides.
  • Put the tray in fridge/freezer to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Once the chocolate has set, spread a spoon of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate.
  • Return to the fridge for another 15 minutes for the peanut butter mixture to set.
  • Drizzle the top with the rest of the melted chocolate and smooth with a spoon.
    Refrigerate the until chocolate has hardened.
  • Remove peanut butter cups from the liners and enjoy!


  • You can double the recipe to make 12 portions.
