We all love ice cream and don’t want to lose any of our progress, but what if we told you that you can eat ice cream and feel good about it. Firstly, we shouldn’t be scared of food, but we can still indulge and our No-Guilt Avocado Ice Cream will keep you on track while being super easy to make and very tasty.

Avocado is known as a superfood for its dense concentration of important nutrients. These good fats are still great for ice cream and yes, we made avo ice cream. This recipe is super easy and you can still get creative with it. The ice cream is creamy and delicious while nuts like almonds add some great crunch. Each serving is only 226 calories. This means that the healthy option No-Guilt Avocado Ice Cream is perfect for anybody in the family and you can indulge without worrying about it.

No-Guilt Avocado Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 medium avocados

  • cup xylitol

  • 1 cup low fat yoghurt

  • ½ cup whipping cream

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 20 g almond flakes

  • ¼ tsp lemon juice

Method

  • Add all the ingredients into a blender.
  • Place in a home ice cream machine, and then allow it to churn for 20 minutes. Remove and either serve immediately or freeze and serve later.
  • Make eight 1 cup servings and sprinkle the almond flakes on top with some mint as decoration.
