In the mood for a snack but don’t want to spend time in the kitchen? Whip up these low-carb scones, they are super quick to prepare and will not spoil your diet if you are following a low-carb eating plan.

With three simple ingredients, you can prepare a low-carb scone in less than five minutes. Just mix the ingredients well together, place it in the microwave for two minutes and get ready for a little feast. When the low-carb scones come steaming out of the microwave, slather your favourite spreads, sprinkle a little bit of cheese and enjoy.

  • 1 teaspoon 1 baking powder

  • 1 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon 1 peanut butter


  • Mix all the ingredients together in a mug.
  • Make sure you mix these ingredients together well. When the mixture looks like batter, it is ready for the microwave.
  • Pop the mixture into the microwave for two minutes. Dance around the kitchen while you wait.
  • When finished, pull the sides loose from the mug, flip it over and pop it out. Add the spread of your choice. Make some tea. Devour.
