Chocolate is often known as the world’s favourite flavour. If nothing else makes you feel better, chocolate is often the one that lightens the mood. We love our chocolate desserts and one of our favourites is hot chocolate sauce on ice cream. Store-bought chocolate sauce can be a bit too sweet at times or not have the richness you want. This homemade recipe is for you to try out and it’s ready in very little time.

Hot chocolate sauce suggestions

You can use any brand of cocoa you want and that means darkness too. You can add a bit of vanilla essence to add some flavour but there is one way to boost your chocolate even more. Adding a few teaspoons of ground or instant coffee won’t add coffee taste but improve the richness of the sauce. But, the creative ball is with you to add the sauce to pancakes, waffles, brownies and much more!
