You only need four ingredients in this recipe and you can make different batches with different colours of marshmallows. The chocolate is also your choice as are the nuts you’ll be using in the recipe. If you don’t have the time to bake any fancy desserts, this one is for you. You can also wrap the blocks of nougat in pretty pieces of paper for beautiful presentation as well as giving out some great-looking gifts for friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 300 g 300 white marshmallows

  • 1 cup 1 chopped almonds

  • 250 g 250 milk chocolate pieces

  • 1 tablespoon 1 butter

Method

  • In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter and marshmallows. Add the chocolate and stir until it forms a ball. Remove from the heat and add the nuts.
  • In a small, greased bread tin pour the mixture. Place in the fridge overnight to set.
  • Cut into blocks and use tissue paper to wrap individual sweets.
