‘Disrespectful!’ Mzansi slams Slik Talk for body-shaming Kamo Mphela
‘You can criticise our talent as artists but don’t come with body shaming’: YouTuber Slik Talk has been slammed for body shaming Kamo Mphema.

YouTuber Silk Talk has made a big name for himself by talking down on some of Mzansi’s biggest celebs. Slik Talk is back at it again and this time he is coming for Kamo Mphela. In his latest video, he called the energetic performer a “bed wench” and said she was “built like a Russian weightlifter”.
His comments sparked outrage on Twitter and she has been defended by tweeps.

KAMO MPHELA DEFENDS UNCLE WAFFLES
On Thursday 18 November, Slik Talk posted a video sharing his opinions about internet sensation Uncle Waffles. While Twitter did not take well to his comments about the young DJ, Kamo Mphela added her voice to the conversation defending Uncle Waffles.
“He needs to stop hating on women who are more successful than his existence. What a waste of sperm,” wrote Mphela.
SLIK TALK BODY SHAMES KAMO MPHELA
In his new video posted on Tuesday 23 November, he body-shamed Kamo Mphela calling her a “bed wench”.
“You’re an embarrassment to your team, you’re an embarrassment to your craft, you’re an embarrassment to yourself Kamo Mphela.”
“You look like you swallowed a bear, you’re disgusting. You’re an embarrassment.”
“You no longer fit the profile to wear a crop top. Your body no longer qualifies you to wear a crop top. You’re embarrassing yourself showing your love handles and your belly.”
Slik Talk went a step further and said Uncles Waffles is the girl Kamo Mphela “used to be”.

TWEEPS DEFEND KAMO MPHELA
Tweeps quickly came to Kamo Mphela’s defence after Slik Talk’s hurtful words. One tweep wrote: “Slik Talk body-shaming her just don’t cut it with me he has lost it, you can criticise our talent as artists but don’t come with body shaming.”
Another tweep wrote: “Slik Talk is very disrespectful man! And worst part people are enjoying it .. This is no longer funny, what he said about Kamo Mphela is personal.”
