A British journalist has reported that Prince William was “jealous” of his brother, Price Harry’s Invictus Games, particularly over it’s success.

‘IT’S BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL SINCE ITS OUTSET’

In a ABC News special “Prince Harry’s Mission: Life, Family and Invictus Games,” footage from the Duke of Sussex’s recent interview with Good Morning America‘s Will Reeve during the Sussexes trip to Canada for the Invictus Games’ one-year countdown celebration.

The special also details and highlights the event’s history as well as Harry’s relationship with the royal family.

In the series, British Journalist, Robert Jobson spoke about how the adaptive sports competition for veterans and service personnel is Prince Harry’s “number one passion project.”

“It’s been very successful since its outset. It doesn’t come cheap, it costs a lot of money, and he’s been able to continue to raise that money throughout this period, which is impressive”, he shared.

IS PRINCE WILLIAMS JEALOUS OF PRINCE HARRY’S INVICTUS GAMES PROJECT?

The journalist also speculated that that there may be a “degree of jealousy” with how well and Harry’s venture has grown. Robert also noted that he thinks Prince Williams was surprised with the Invictus Games’ success over the years.

Robert continued: “But I think there was a degree of jealousy about how well it had gone. I do think that William was surprised how much this had been such a success and how much money was being thrown into it and how many governments were getting involved”.

Prince Harry created the Invictus Games created in 2014. The Duke of Sussex created the Invictus Games as patron of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, the charitable organization for the royal brothers and Kate Middleton.

Meghan Markle, Harry’s wife was the fourth patron to join after her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018.

In 2019, when the two couples split offices, Prince Harry and Meghan left The Royal Foundation to create their own philanthropic organization, as reported by People magazine.

Despite stepping back from their roles as working members of the royal family in 2020 and relocating to America, Prince Harry together with Meghan Markle have continued working with the Invictus Games.
