However, social media users have been trolling the club after their spending spree in the recent transfer window.
Sports journalist and presenter Nkululeko Nkewu took a swipe at Kaizer Chiefs fans and how they hype their signings.
Speaking on iDiskiTV, Nkululeko said: “You hype so many players that you sign, you’d think that when you sign Given Msimango, you were signing Sergio Ramos, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe – Thiago Silver.”

The sports journalist is more than convinced that the signings are decent, but fans hyped them too much before they even kicked the ball, only to be shocked by their performances on the pitch.
