‘Day one’: Inside Rachel Kolisi and kids first day in Paris

Rachel Kolisi, the wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi shared an inside look at her first day in Paris along with her two kids – Nicholas and Keziah via an Instagram post on Sunday 20 August.

INSIDE THE KOLISI’S FIRST DAY IN PARIS

Springboks first lady Rachel Kolisi and her two kids – Nicholas (8) and Keziah (6), who she shares with her husband, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi moved to Paris this past weekend. Their move comes ahead of Siya’s move to Racing 92 after the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday 20 August, Rachel shared an inside look at her family’s first day in Paris. Take a look…

“Day 1! (Don’t worry I won’t do a post everyday 😂). We had the kindest driver pick us up with fresh orange juice and chocolate croissants this morning. The kids slept well on the flight I only got about 2 hours in,” she wrote.

Rachel went on to reveal that she learnt a few things since touching down in the city of love. This includes Paris being hot and not having an aircon, they have to learnt how to say “grocery store” in French and they would need to work on meal prep.

‘THE PROMISE OF A NEW SEASON’

This comes after Rachel shared a lengthy post describing how hard it was to say goodbye to South Africa just before leaving to Paris.

“After a week of devastating goodbyes, packing, working, holding space for my babies, farewells, and lots and lots of admin. This morning I woke up to this flower. The promise of a new season. My heart is super heavy, moving is very very hard. I’m throwing all my faith in Jesus in this season,” she wrote.

“Thank you to those who have checked in, and showered us with love and kindness. We are so grateful. Kez, Nic and I are moving to Paris today,” she continued.
