Palesa Tembe – the older sister of the late Nelli Tembe – has spoken out about being ‘numb’ from crying following her untimely death.

In a few months it will be a full year since the young, talented and troubled Nelli Tembe allegedly took her own life.

But time has definitely not healed any wounds when it comes to the star’s older sister Palesa.

The TV presenter has spoken out about experiencing an overwhelming sense of grief. She’s even asked her fans and followers to help share their best coping mechanisms.

PALESA REMEMBERS NELLI TEMBE

Palesa Tembe took to her Instagram Stories to reveal the level of despair she found herself in: numbness.

She posted: “I wanna cry really, really badly. But I think 2021 took all my tears. I’m empty, nothing. There’s nothing!

“Every time I try to cry – nothing! Empty tear ducts. It scares me”.

Palesa asked her followers who related to her emotions to share how they overcame the

“Maybe you can help me,” she added

On the eve of Palesa’s birthday last year, she hinted at how cruel 2021 had been to her.

Nelli Tembe – the youngest of the siblings – died on 11 April after plunging to her death over the balcony of a Cape Town hotel. She was reportedly accompanying her boyfriend AKA during a working trip.

COPING WITH GRIEF

Palesa Tembe’s followers shared their best advice with the Afternoon Express presenter on overcoming grief.

Many advised her to seek professional help and even try medical avenues as a means of treatment. Others suggested listening to gospel music, reading motivational books and even journaling her thoughts,

“The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming,” she posted, thanking her fans.
