The comedian – who is dating Kim Kardashian – has felt the wrath of Ye in the rapper’s new song Eazy.
In it, Kanye threatens to “beat Pete Davidson’s a**”.
And when it comes to the controversial hitmaker, one can never be sure if his words are loaded with promises or empty threats.
HIRING EXTRA SECURITY
According to reports, Pete Davidson has hired extra security guards to protect him against any potential threats.
And whilst Pete isn’t necessarily worried about Kanye, he is concerned about the rapper’s die-hard fans.
A source told Radar Online: “Pete isn’t worried about Kanye, but he is concerned about the massive fanbase that Kanye has. His devoted followers listen to his songs and act upon them. That’s why Pete is now using security.”
The SNL comedian has been seeing Kanye’s estranged wife since they were publicly linked in October 2021. The couple – who have been seen on a number of public appearances – also make use of security.
The source added that Pete Davidson’s status meant he also needed his own security.
The source added: “Whenever he is out with Kim, they use her security. But now Pete needs his own security when he is out alone. He is still Pete, but now Pete comes with a 6’1, 220 lbs [1,8m, 100kg] security guard.
“Until recently Pete never had security with him when he was out and about, even when he was engaged to Ariana Grande. But dating Kim [Kardashian] is a totally different level of fame. Pete is now a superstar, which comes with a price. As much as he still wants to be low-key and hang with his friends, the reality of his situation has changed.”
WHAT PETE DAVIDSON THINKS OF KANYE’S THREATS
Kanye West had his followers thoroughly entertained with the recent release of his song Eazy, featuring The Game.
In it he raps: “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” while his new girlfriend Julia Fox reportedly provides the ad lib, “Who?”
And it seems Pete Davidson is also finding the move hilarious.
A source told Page Six: “Pete thinks it’s totally hilarious. Not just that — he thinks the whole [tabloid drama with him, West and Kardashian] is hilarious. He loves it.”
According to the source, the comedian has yet to meet Kim and Kanye’s four children. This, despite the rapper claiming in a recent interview that Pete had been to visit his family home. He also alleged that he was not invited tp his daughter Chicago’s fourth birthday party.
“Pete has yet to be introduced to Kim’s kids, and it’s widely known that whenever he visits her in LA, he stays at a hotel in Beverly Hills where she’s been spotted with him.”
IS IT JUST A PR STUNT?
Many tweeps – including SA’s own Pearl Thusi – are still under impression that the whole debacle between Kim, Kanye, Pete Davidson and Julia Fox is just an elaborate PR ploy.
They believe the former couple are using their relationship statuses to boost their individual careers.
One tweep wrote: “Everything I’ve learned about Kim and Kanye’s rebound wars has been against my will. Literally an innocent bystander in their post-divorce PR battle”
