Springbok captain Siya Kolisi is celebrating Bafana Bafana’s victory against Morocco and advancement to the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) quarterfinals this weekend.

And in typical style, it wouldn’t be the same without a troll-worthy moment.

In a clip posted on his Instagram account, the Bok star poked fun at his kids for not knowing a local Kwaito and soccer track – TKZee’s Shibobo.

SA will face Cape Verde in the Afcon quarter-final on Saturday, 2 February.

SIYA KOLISI CELEBRATES BAFANA BAFANA WIN WITH TKZEE TRACK

In the clip, Siya Kolisi asked his children Nic and Keziah if they “know this song.” The Springbok captain was referring to TKZee’s classic 1998 track Shibobo [The Final Countdown].

Needless to say, the duo had no clue what he was talking about.

“South Africa is in the Afcon quart-final. They beat Morocco, he excitedly told Nic. Siya then whipped out his best dance moves to the horror of his kids.

He added: “Congrats, Bafana Bafana, we’re so proud of you. Mzansi, let’s get behind them”.

The rugby star captioned the clip: “Yho, Ama2000 don’t know what we know…but they will find out”.

IN THE AFCON WINNER AREA?

Siya Kolisi’s nod to both Bafana Bafana and Tkzee was built on the 1998 hit track Shibobo, featuring retired soccer star Benni McCarthy.

Benni was hailed as an honorary member of the TKZee family, alongside music acts Loyiso Bala, Gywza, and the late Dr. Mageu.

TKZee’s football-themed track was released two years after the SA squad won their first and only Afcon title in 1996. It was also a theme track to celebrate Bafana Bafana’s World Cup stint in 1998.

In Shibobo – which is South African slang for a football move and making a fool out of your opponent – Benni was not only the subject of the hit song but also starred in it.

Benni was also hailed for his striker goals in the “18 area”, as sung in the song.
