Bafana Bafana booked their Africa Cup Of Nations (Afcon) quarterfinal spot after humbling Morocco in an epic round of 16 clash at the Laurent Pokou stadium in San Pedro.

No doubt the win has since thrust Bafana Bafana into the top trends.

EVIDENCE MAKGOPA WOWS FANS WITH SKOMOTA’S DANCE MOVES

The Atlas Lions star man Hakimi failed to convert from the spot. However, midfield maestro Teboho Mokoena sealed the victory late in stoppage time with a stunning free-kick from range.

However, fans can’t get enough of Evidence Makgopa’s celebration dance moves back home. The Orlando Pirates star ditched famous trademark celebrations for Skomota’s signature dance move.

Makgopa wowed fans with Skomota’s signature dance moves, and Mzansi gave him a nod. The now-viral video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it was dropped on the internet.

Several publications have since flooded their feeds with his celebration. Against the celebration, Skomota has been topping trends.

However, Teboho Mokoena also rallied his teammates for an epic celebration after sealing the win with South Africa’s second goal in extra time. Mokoena mimicked one of Cristiano Ronalo’s goal celebrations with the rest of the squad.

But the move was more than a nod to the “GOAT.” In 2022, Ronaldo wept bitterly after Morocco knocked out Portugal from the World Cup quarterfinals.

QUARTERFINAL FIXTURE

Bafana Bafana will square off with Cape Verde in the Afcon quarterfinals on Saturday, 3 February. However, this has been dupped as one of the most epic quarterfinals showdowns.

Both teams have been clinical on goal and have pulled some of the biggest shockers in the tournament so far. If Bafana Bafana wins, they will face Nigeria or Angola in the semi-finals.
