‘No frills’: Pitso Mosimane responds to Bafana beating Morocco 2-0
Former Bafana Bafana coach, Pitso Mosimane on Tuesday credited Hugo Broos and Helman Mkhalele for South Africa defeating Morocco in AFCON.

Pitso Mosimane congratulated Bafana Bafana for upsetting Morocco 2-0 in the AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro, Ivory Coast.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane took to X on Tuesday to praise Bafana Bafana for beating Morocco 2-0 at the African Cup of Nations.
“Tebogo Mokoena! What a player. The free kick he scored, was just the icing on the cake! He stepped on every grass leaf on the pitch. Bossing the midfield. No arguments, SA is one of the most tactically disciplined team in the tournament. No frills, just grinding,” said Mosimane.
Mosimane also credited the coach Hugo Broos and assistant coach, Helman Mkhalele and said their team is tactically disciplined.
“One step at a time, we still have a road to travel, feet on the ground but we can celebrate these hard-earned victories,” concluded Mosimane
South Africans took to social media on Tuesday to congratulate the national football team, who are through to the quarter finals.
Aljazeera reports that South Africa will face Cape Verde in the quarterfinal on Saturday, 3 February.
