Bafana fans credit Patrice Motsepe, Sundowns for Morocco win

Bafana Bafana fans on Tuesday credited Patrice Motsepe and Sundowns for South Africa beating Morocco in AFCON.

South Africans took to social media on Tuesday, 30 January evening to congratulate Bafana Bafana for upsetting Morocco 2-0.

‘BAFANA BAFANA IS TAKING THE CUP’

Bafana Bafana fan @mmodiba10 credited South Africa’s win to CAF (Confederation of African Football) boss, Patrice Motsepe and Mamelodi Sundowns.

“Patrice Motsepe and Sundowns have done more for South African football than what SAFA has done in 30years. We’re taking this cup,” he tweeted.

Brazilians are reportedly dominating the Bafana squad as ten Mamelodi Sundowns players are among the 23-men in the Bafana Bafana AFCON.

Bafana upset Morocco 2-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the Laurent Pokou Stadium on Tuesday.

Aljazeera reports that South Africa will face Cape Verde in the quarterfinal on Saturday, 3 February. South Africans took to social media on Tuesday to congratulate the national football team.
