Mark Fish praises coach Hugo Broos for Bafana beating Morocco

Former Bafana Bafana player, Mark Fish on Wednesday credited Hugo Broos for South Africa defeating Morocco in AFCON.

Mark Fish praised Bafana Bafana’s coach Hugo Broos after his team beat Morocco 2-0 on Tuesday, 30 January.

Former Bafana Bafana player, Mark Fish took to X on Tuesday to praise Hugo Broos team for beating Morocco in the AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations).

The soccer legend posted a photo with Broos and tweeted on Wednesday morning:”I found someone who’s grey hair is well certainly cooler than mine. Well done coach a fantastic performance by the boys tonight. Quarter finals here we come. Bafana Bafana.”

X user @adamabankura told Fish: “Great to see Bafana legend supporting their country In Côte d’Ivoir. Been jealous of seeing the likes of Jay- Jay, Diouf, Gibril Cisse and Drogba supporting their respective nations.”

South Africans took to social media on Tuesday to congratulate the national football team, who are through to the quarter finals.

Aljazeera reports that South Africa will face Cape Verde in the quarterfinal on Saturday, 3 February.
