Died a year ago: SA sides with Juju in AKA’s unsolved murder case

President of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Julius Malema won over several social media users after he questioned the progress of the police handling the murder case of the slain rapper AKA –real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes as seen the comment section of a video posted on a TikTok recently.

‘WHO PULLED THE TRIGGER?’: JULIUS MALEMA ON AKA’S MURDERER

Netizens agreed with the EFF leader Julius Malema after he shared his sentiments regarding AKA’s murder case. The slain rapper was assassinated outside Wish restaurant on 10 February 2023. His killer was also captured on CCTV.

In a recently posted video on social media, Malema shamed the police working on the late rapper’s murder case. The EFF President is seemingly not convinced the police are working fast enough to solve AKA’s murder case, especially considering that his killer was captured in the act on CCTV.

Malema also slammed the Minister of Police Bheki Cele and his previous updates on the unsolved case.

“We found the bullet; we found the car,” Malema imitated Cele’s previous updates. “Sendzeni [What must we do with that]?” the politician asked. “What must we do with that kind of information?” Malema continued.

“Bheki Cele just calls a press conference with a big hat to come and tell us [that] he knows the car and the gun. We are not interested in that. We are interested in that boy who pulled the trigger in front of a camera killing a high-profile person,” Malema said.

“A high-profile person got killed in front of a camera and the whole world watched [and] till today we have not arrested those people,” the EFF leader continued.
