American singer Britney Spears has jetted off to a private island but not before she vented about how deeply hurt she felt by her family over an Instagram post on Tuesday 26 October.
BRITNEY IS ON VACATION
Just a month after a judge suspended Jamie Spears as his daughter’s conservator after 13 years, Britney Spears is beginning to enjoy the freedom she has. Britney announced that she is on vacation on a private island today (29 October). Before enjoying her time away she wanted her family to know how deeply they have hurt her.
“Arriving on a private island ???? … it’s nice here but waaaayyy too hot ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ !!!” she captioned the post.
THE ‘TOXIC’ HITMAKER IS TIRED OF BEING ‘MOTHER TERESA’
On 26 October, the Toxic hitmaker shared a lengthy Instagram post to her 35.5 million Instagram followers. In the post, she expressed how hard she has tried to accommodate her family members by setting trips and lunch dates but they were never really there for her.
“Don’t you find it weird when you jump through hoops to organize trips or set up lunch dates with people you love only to know they’ll bail on you or leave after 10 minutes ???? ??? It’s humiliating and it’s like every person I’ve ever opened to immediately says they’ll be gone on a trip for two weeks after,” she wrote.
She said that she is no longer available to her family now and she does not mind being alone.
“They’re only available to me when it’s convenient for them … well I’m no longer available to any of them now ????????♀️ !!! I don’t mind being alone … and actually I’m tired of being this understanding Mother Teresa … if you’re rude to me then I’m done,” she continued.
She went on to confirm that this is a message to her family who has hurt her deeply. This is likely to include her parents and her younger siser Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney and Jamie currently have a rocky relationship as they take subtle jabs at each other on social media.
“This message is to my family … for hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know !!! I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!! I’m only 5’4″ and I’ve played the bigger person my entire life … do you know how hard that is ???” she added.
However, Jamie has opened up about some hard times of her own in her memoir Things I Should Have Said. She claims that her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears pressured her to get a abortion at the age of 16.
