The celebrated actress who plays the mighty and cunning MamSonto has been sharing behind-the-scenes memories on her social media as the drama series wraps up its season finale after its shocking cancellation.

CONNIE CHIUME’S DANCE MOVES

In the now-viral video, Connie Chiume could be seen pulling off some traditional dance moves behind the scene with her on-screen granddaughter Gugu.

Against the clip, many were impressed with the actress, who has bonded with fellow actors.

Over the years, seasoned actors often exclude them from the rest of the cast if they are not shooting or in between the scenes, but that has not been the case with MamSonto.

After all, this is not the first time the celebrated actress has wowed Mzansi with her selfless gestures. Connie Chiume has it that the cast kept her young, and she will forever cherish the moments.

It was confirmed that the Mzansi Magic drama series was cancelled in April and would air its last episode in October. The shocking cancellation also made actors despair since they didn’t know why the drama series was cancelled.

However, the rumour mill has it that the show wrapped its shooting in July and will air its last episodes until October.

Several actors have since been written off in the backdrop of the cancellation, including Connie Chiume.
