South African dancer and reality star Zodwa Rebecca Libram, popularly known by her stage name Zodwa Wabantu, has denied that she “attacked” a woman at Recharge Braai Lounge in Gauteng over the weekend.

Instagram gossip page @maphepha_ndaba shared a post of a woman claiming she was attacked by the exotic dancer. The woman’s name is Naniki Mokoena.

Mokoena claimed that Zodwa poured champagne on her and slapped her because the dancer’s “Ben 10” — Olefile Mpudi, aka Ricardo — was looking at her.

“I was attacked last night by Zodwa Wabantu. She slapped me and poured champagne on my face because her Ben 10 was looking at me,” claimed

“Her boyfriend was dancing (while) looking at our table… so I shifted to an open space to dance there and that’s when Zodwa came to our table dancing for this other guy,” she continued.

“We were so happy screaming, hyping her up yho only to pass n touched her that’s when she slapped me n be like ungangi jwaele n she poured champagne on my face,” she added.

Sunday World reports that Zodwa said it was just a “misunderstanding between two drunk women”.

Zodwa explained that she was invited to the venue and she went to the VIP section when she arrived. She later decided to go and dance.

“I’m not a violent person.  She wanted me and I did not give myself to her … I didn’t even care what she was doing with my boyfriend. I just paid my bill and left her with those Nigerian men,” she said to Sunday World.

The exotic dancer referred the publication to a video of herself from the night when she was further questioned about the incident. However, she is just dancing to Kabza De Smalls’s Asibe Happy in the clip while holding a bottle of champagne.

“We go out as normal people when we are not working💃🏾but sometimes you want to see if we have Blood 🩸 @recharge_braai_lounge,” the post was captioned.
