Nkosinathi Sekeleni: ‘Thabo Bester ruled Dr Nandi with an iron fist’
Dr Nandipha’s brother Nkosinathi Sekeleni, who exposed their relationship says Thabo Bester often lost his temper.

Nkosinathi Sekeleni, who exposed his sister Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s relationship with convicted murderer Thabo Bester on social media says he’s supporting her.

NKOSINATHI SEKELENI: ‘DR NANDIPHA IS STILL MY SISTER’
Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s brother Nkosinathi Sekeleni tells Sunday Times Sekeleni’s sister Nandipha says he’s determined to stand by her despite their challenging relationship.
“When you see your sister on the news like that, you feel for her. That’s my sister. There are feelings from me [about what she allegedly did], but that is my sister.”
It is reported Sekeleni’s sister is being charged with aiding and abetting Bester in his escape from Mangaung Prison in May 2022.
He adds that Bester ruled Magudumana with an iron fist when they were dating, lost his temper and there were fists of rage when she disobeyed him.
Sekeleni also confirms that the leaked audio of a man berating a woman last week was between Bester and his sister.
“I know what my sister sounds like when [she is] backed into a corner. That is her voice. That is how she sounds when she is confronted.
“The voice note is genuine. That is Thabo Bester. I know his voice. It is exactly how he sounds.”
He also describes the “Facebook Rapist” as someone with a bad temper and often resorts to violence without hesitation.
Though he hasn’t been able to communicate with his sister, he’s talked to people who were in contact with her and has informed her that if she needs anything to keep her safe, he will assist.

@NowInSA leaked the audio, which is reportedly between the Facebook Rapist Thabo Bester and Nkosinathi Sekeleni’s sister Dr Nandipha Magodumana on Thursday, 14 April.
In the audio, “Bester” is heard threatening Nandipha’s husband and children and says he’ll kill her if she disobeys him again and that he runs the house.
Thabo Bester: “I am driving to Johannesburg tonight, when I get there if I call you and you don’t f*cken pick up the phone, uzosola impilo yakho,” (you’ll regret it with your life).
Thabo Bester: “I don’t care if you understand or don’t understand. You’re doing your own things. I told you, you don’t do things in this house. Do you understand that?
“The fact that you were upset and blocked my number that’s the last time in your life. If you ever block my number you will find you and your clothes on the f…ing streets. You will never block me … do you hear me. I will drive to Joburg and take your ass and will show you what I am capable of.”
“I have a tracker on you … Do you think I don’t know what you are doing … I will kill you and him. I will f…ing murder both of you.”
