Thabo Bester’s co-accused, Nandipha Magudumana, is spending her birthday in court attending her bail application, and naturally, the celebrity aesthetics doctor is celebrating in style.
The woman accused of helping the convicted rapist, murderer and fraudster escape prison last year turns 34 years old on Monday, 4 September.

NANDIPHA MAGUDUMANA MAKES GLAM COURT APPEARANCE
Appearing alone in the dock at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court, Nandipha Magudumana made a striking appearance on her birthday.
The mother-of-two sported a new hairstyle – box braids with curly ends and neatly laid edges. She also sported a bold red lipstick and long-manicured nails. Magudumana wore a designer T-shirt from her brand of choice, Nike.

In clips posted on Twitter – or X.com – Magudumana thanked reporters who wished her a happy birthday.
“Are you enjoying your birthday so far?” one reporter asked her. Smiling sheepishly, Nandipha – who was supported by family members in court – shook her head.
FIRST BIRTHDAY BEHIND BARS?
Nandipha’s birthday this year starkly contrasts her celebrations in 2022.
According to Sunday World, the aesthetics doctor posted a grand celebration last year, attended by Thabo Bester himself, who had escaped prison allegedly with her help just a few months prior.

According to the publication, Bester allegedly assaulted Magudumana in full view of guests. A source told the publication: “We … tried to intervene, but he told us that this was his house and we cannot tell him anything.
“When we wanted to leave, he told us that we are not going anywhere. We had to stay there against our will”.
While Nandipha toasted her birthday with champagne and her loved ones in 2022, she is likely facing her first one behind bars if her bail bid is unsuccessful.
