Even in his death, Mark Pilgrim has continued to make dreams come true after his tribute concert raised over R100 000 for his favourite charity, Reach For A Dream.

It was a bittersweet occasion at the event – aptly titled the “Pilgrimage Party” – which took place on Saturday in memory of the late broadcaster.

The event – named after Mark Pilgrim’s Pilgrimage albums from the early 00’s – raised R102 000 through ticket sales for the Reach For A Dream foundation.

Mark was an ambassador for the NGO, which makes “wishes come true” for children living with life-threatening illnesses.

And judging by the pics, the party – which played Mark’s favourite tracks from the 80s and 90s – was a roaring success.

The installation – created by artist “The Naked Cuber” – was commissioned out of Mark’s shee love of solving the 3-D puzzle.
