Woman of many talents: Anele wows crowd with her singing [watch]

South African media personality Anele Mdoda has proven herself to be a powerhouse over and over again. When she isn’t dominating the morning radio scene, she is killing it as a TV presenter and MC. And now it would appear that she has one other talent that no one knew anything about — singing.

A video of her “performing” at the 947 Joburg Day event has made its way online and has left social media users pleasantly surprised at both her singing and her stage presence.

947 Breakfast Club radio show host Anele Mdoda definitely serves as an inspiration to many young aspiring media personalities.

She has grown into one of South Africa’s biggest and highest paid TV and radio stars and after watching her in front of the camera or hearing her on the radio — it’s not hard to know why.

It would appear however that shining in the broadcasting industry isn’t her only talent.

The 39-year-old mom of one was recently uncovered as a pretty great singer and performer. In a video which has been circulating on X, she can be seen on stage performing to a very excited crowd.

“Anele spotted singing 🤭 @Anele #Galaxy947JoburgDay,” a tweep captioned the clip of Anele. To which she responded:

“Here… I can explain and I shall on Monday at 7;10.” Take a look below:

SA weighs in

Fans definitely think that she can make something of her secret talent. Many expressed their surprise at how good she is.

“We always knew you were a talented hun, but spill Monday please,” one person commented while her close friend Somizi joked:
