Netflix has announced that the fourth instalment to The Kandasamys films is currently in production and will premiere on the international streaming platform in 2024.

‘KANDASAMYS THE BABY’ IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION

The Kandasamys and Naidoo’s are back! Netflix announced that the fourth instalment of The Kandasamys is currently in production and there’s a baby! Kandasamys The Baby will premiere on Netflix in 2024.

This follows the release of Keeping Up With The Kandasamys (2017), Kandasamys: The Wedding (2019), Trippin’ With The Kandasamys (2021). The third instalment debuted at number one in South Africa when it was released in June 2021.

“The Kandasamys tells the story of two Indian families who are brought together by their children’s love for each other and have to learn how to get along despite some hilarious mishaps and drama along the way,” according to a release from Netflix.

“This time around, the best friends and mothers-in-law duo Jennifer (Jailoshini Naidoo) and Shanti (Maeshni Naicker) finally get what they’ve wanted – to be Durban’s favourite grandmothers as Jodi (Mishqah Parthiephal) and Prishen (Madhushan Singh) are having a baby! But that doesn’t mean that OG Aya (Marriam Bassa) is stepping out of her iconic role, now more than ever, Aya’s presence will be seen, heard and felt,” the release continued.
