The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) have released grant payment dates for October. If you receive the Older Persons, Disability, or any other social grant, here is when to check your status. You should be able to collect your grant on the following dates if you have been approved by the system. Here’s everything you should know about grant payment dates, and where to contact them if your grant hasn’t shown up on the right day. The Older Persons (Pensioners) grant provides assistance to those 60 and older. The SASSA payment date for the Older Persons grant is: Tuesday, 3 October. The Disability grant is there to assist those who cannot earn or sustain their income, due to permanent disability or illness. The payment date for the Disability grant is: Wednesday, 4 October. If your grant status is approved, you can collect your grant from this date according to SASSA.
