According to Maasai Sightings, this sighting occurred at Maasai Mara.

Lions proclaim their territory by roaring and with scent and scuff marking. Scraping objects such as trees and bushes also feature in territory marking. These behaviours were seen in this sighting, which means the young males are preparing for war.
