Kaizer Chiefs have announced six new signings ahead of the new season, but another crucial signing could be in the shape of one of their own. The players that Chiefs announced are Thathayoane Ditlhokwe, Given Msimango, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Castillo, Pule Mmodi and Ranga Chivaviro. In that list is an attacking midfielder in the shape of Mdantsane, who is expected to make a positive impact for Chiefs, in his debut season at the club. But of course, it won’t be the first time the former Cape Town City star dons the famous gold and black colours of Amakhosi. The player was once part of the club’s academy before pursuing first team opportunities elsewhere. He will now be hoping to cement his place in the team’s senior structures.
