Sibling power: A two-year-old ran to his sister’s rescue after he thought she was in a real-life fight when she was actually competing in a wrestling match.
This video of a two-year-old ‘saving’ his sister during a wrestling match is probably one of the cutest things you’ll ever see.
It appears the toddler really thought his five-year-old sister was in a real fight with a boy named Ryan….and not actually competing in a wrestling match during the event at an elementary school in Columbia City, Indiana.
According to Scary Mommy, the toddler’s father was filming the match on his phone when his son suddenly ran over to ‘rescue’ his sister in what appears to be a very noble act.
On Sunday, a video of the ‘rescue mission’ was uploaded on Facebook. It didn’t take long before the clip started to spread over the internet like wildfire.
The video has already clocked in over 509K Views on Facebook alone.
Ryan’s mother, Tori ‘Allen’ Prendergast said: “When the girl you’re wrestling has a tough little brother, don’t mess with his sister…..you won’t regret watching this video, promise.”
She later also told The Huffington Post that she had missed the match, but luckily saw the hilarious video on tape later.
“It was so cute. The whole place was cracking up when it happened,” she said. “I only have boys, but if I had a daughter, I hope they would protect their sister like that.”
In the video, viewers can see the little boy race to the centre of the stage to protect his sister.
Internet users had nothing but kind words for this toddler’s instinct to protect his sister. They said:
Toya Scho said: “LMBO!!!!! He said nah sis, this a tag team match!!! How fresking cute!”
Amanda Richardson said: “Most adorable video I’ve seen today and I’ve been looking at KITTENS!”
