Airlink adds another route from Durban: See here

Airlink will reconnect Durban and Bloemfontein with direct scheduled flights between the two cities, from 26 February.

Airlink will resume daily flights between Durban and Bloemfontein next month as it tries to expand its route network from Durban.

RESUMED ROUTE

The restart of this route comes as good news for travellers from Durban and Bloemfontein as the two cities enjoy improved connectivity.

“Airlink’s direct service between the two cities is in response to increased calls for convenient and efficient connections that boost productivity for travellers on the route, especially from the business and legal sectors. This latest expansion of our comprehensive route network will promote economic activity between the two metropoles and their market catchment areas,” said Airlink CEO and MD, Rodger Foster, per Travel News.

BLOEMFONTEIN

From 26 February Airlink will offer morning flights between Durban and Bloemfontein from Monday to Friday.

It will also operate afternoon flights every day except Saturdays.

Airlink’s Fares include a 20kg free economy-class checked-in baggage allowance and a 15kg sport equipment allowance. 

It offers complimentary inflight meals on these flights. 

All passengers have a choice of an aisle or window seat as the aircraft does not have middle seats.

These restarted flights will be operated with an Embraer Regional Jet.

The airline has a number of these aircraft in its fleet.

The model has proven to be comfortable and reliable.
