WWE TLC 2018: Results, video highlights and live stream

It is time for the final PPV of the year as TLC wraps up a year of ups and downs for the WWE Universe.

Pre Show

Cruiserweight championship – Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Cedric Alexander

Result: Buddy Murphy retains after an entertaining match.

Ladder Match with Guitar suspended above the ring – Elias vs Bobby Lashley with Lio Rush

Result: Elias picks up the win by unhooking the guitar, but Lio Rush and Bobby beat Elias down after the match. Lio nailed an impressive frog splash here, and Bobby hit the guitar shot to lay out Elias.

Main Card

Mixed Match Challenge Final – R-Truth & Carmella vs. Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox

Result: R-Truth & Carmella win when ‘Mella taps out Alicia Foxx. They both win the #30 entry into next month’s Royal Rumble, and a vacation anywhere in the world. R-Truth chooses WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut. 

Smackdown Tag Team Championship – The Bar (c) vs The Uso vs The New Day

Result: Sheamus pins Woods after a great match for The Bar to retain.

TLC match – Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin with Heath Slater as the referee

Result: Corbin tries to win by forfeit, but an injured Braun Strowman comes out to announce a TLC is a no DQ match, and he has some help.  Apollo Crews appears with a chair, as do Bobby Roode & Chad Gable, then Finn Bálor. Slater removes his referee shirt and decks Corbin. Everyone takes a turn with a chair shot. Corbin retreats but Kurt Angle stops him at the top of the ramp. They all hit their finishes, and Braun comes in to pin Corbin. The crowd goes nuts as Corbin is no longer GM and Braun gets his Universal title shot at the Royal Rumble.

Tables match – Natalya vs. Ruby Riott with the Riott Squad

Result: Natalya wins a back and forth match when she puts Ruby through a table with Ruby’s own picture on it. Earlier Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan were both put through tables. 

Drew McIntyre vs Finn Bálor

Result: Finn with the Coup de Grace to win after a distraction from Dolph Ziggler.

Chairs Match – Randy Orton vs Rey Mysterio

Result: Myserio wins a fun match via pinfall.

RAW Women’s Championship – Ronda Rousey (c) vs Nia Jax

Result: Ronda taps out Jaxx for the win.

WWE championship – Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles

Result: Bryan retains via rollup after a long exciting match.

Intercontinental Championship – Seth Rollins (c) vs Dean Ambrose

Result: Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds to win the IC Title. Lots of “This is boring”chants. Hopefully this clears the way for Seth to challenge for the Universal Title.

Triple Threat TLC match – Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair

Result: Asuka wins to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. Ronda interfered and took out both Charlotte and Becky. Match of the night.

As ever, it will be live on SuperSport. The kick off show will start at 1:00 on Monday morning with matches beginning at 2:00. All of this will be on SuperSport 4 with repeats on SuperSport 9 from 17:00 on the same day.
