WWE Smackdown Live: Results, live stream and video highlights – 10th April 2019

Smackdown Live ends the WWE’s time in New York, and they’ve promised a huge celebration to end WrestleMania week.

Brooklyn, let’s get it on as the New Day and new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston make their way to the ring for a celebration. Another huge reaction for Kofi as the crowd chants his name. Big E and Xavier Woods hype up Kofi’s achievement. The say tonight is not about shenanigans, it’s about celebrating Kofi. After a love fest, Drew McIntyre and The Bar come out to stop the celebrations and challenge the New Day to a six man tag later.

Ali, Aleister Black & Ricochet vs Andrade, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev with Lana & Zelina Vega

Result: Ali pins Andrade for the win.

After the match, Randy Orton strikes Ali with an RKO outta nowhere. Kevin Owens appears and takes out Rusev with a stunner.

Backstage we get an interview with the Usos, they congratulate Kofi Kingston and then speak on their match later with the Hardyz.

Carmella and R-Truth make their way to the ring. They talk about their historic dance break at WrestleMania. Carmella also thanks Truth for showing her how to have fun again. Samoa Joe’s music hits and he attacks Truth in the ring. Joe takes down Truth and calls for a mic. He warns the rest of the locker room. Out comes Braun. Samoa Joe doesn’t back down and takes the fight straight to the Monster Among Men.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship:
The ICONIICS (c) vs The Brooklyn Belles

Result: The ICONIICS pick up an easy win against the jobbers. After the match, Paige appears backstage and promises to bring them a new team to face next week.

After the break, Shane McMahon is in the ring. He brags about what he did to The Miz and his father at WrestleMania. Shane plays heavy on the “best in the world” tag. The fans respond with a huge CM Punk chant, to which Shane sarcastically responds “Please.”

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) vs The Hardy Boyz

Result: Jeff hits the Swanton Bomb to pick up the win and the Hardyz are your new 8-time tag team champions.

After the match, Lars Sullivan attacks the Hardyz. They fight back, but Lars eventually gets the best of them.

After the break, WWE Women’s Champion, the champ champ, Becky Lynch makes her way out to the ring. Corey Graves calls here Becky Two Belts. Hah. Becky references that too and the crowd chant “Becky Two Belts”. Becky talks about Lacey Evans actions the night before and warns her. Becky makes her way to the back but is attacked on the stage by Lacey again.

Sami is out next and he criticizes the crowd who are singing his theme song. He leaves without much more.

The Bar & Drew McIntyre vs The New Day

Result: Kofi pins Sheamus to get the win.

Smackdown Live goes off the air with a family celebration in the ring. What a week it’s been! We’ll see you on RAW next week.
