WWE Smackdown Live: Results, highlights and live stream for 21st November 2018

After last week’s jaw dropping events on Smackdown Live and the complete shutout by RAW at this weekend’s Survivor Series, the blue brand is in chaos.

We’re starting the show with highlights of Charlotte Flair’s epic heel turn at Survivor Series.

Charlotte heads to the rings to a chorus of cheers and wooooos from the crowd. A “Thank you Charlotte” chant breaks out, Charlotte says “yes, thank me”and cuts a great heel promo bragging about her actions against Ronda Rousey. Smackdown GM Paige makes her way out. She praises Flair for what she did. Paige changes her tune and says she will be fining Charlotte $100,000 for assaulting five referees. The ICONIIICS come out and make fun of Charlotte. We have a match…apparently.

Charlotte Flair vs Billie Kaye with Peyton Royce

Result: Charlotte makes quick work of Kaye pinning her following a Natural Selection. She calls Peyton into the ring next.

Result: Flair wins by DQ when the ICONIICS double team her. Charlotte turns things around and destroys them both on the outside.

Next is a vignette from Rey Mysterio explaining how vicious RAndy Orton has become. He will face him later tonight.

Back in the ring we have The Miz and Miz TV…he soaks in the “Miz is Awesome” chants, then he introduces his special guest, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon. Shane can’t do the shuffle because he’s too banged up. So Miz does the shuffle instead. Hah. Miz continues to suck up to Shane. The Miz builds up the courage to ask Shane a question… in marriage proposal style he asks Shane to be his tag team partner. Shane declines, and Miz says he is surprised but already arranged it with Paige backstage, and they have a match right now and it will be something special. He introduces their opponents, two tag team specialists from Los Angeles…

The Miz & Shane McMahon vs Wayne & Dane Bryant

Result: Miz fools around and gets pinned by Dane Bryant. Shane laughs it off.

The New Day are heading to the ring in pilgrims outfits. They cut a promo in the ring for what they are thankful for, and remind everyone that Smackdown won their match on the preshow, so they are the 1 in 6-1.

Result: The New Day win what was basically a normal 6 man tag. They start a food fight afterwards.

Randy Orton cuts a creepy promo with Rey’s mask backstage.

Naomi & Asuka vs Sonya De Ville & Mandy Rose

Result: Asuka taps out De Ville after Sonya and Mandy miscommunicated. 

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan is out next to explain his actions from last week. It’s also announced he will defend against AJ Styles at TLC in a…well, a TLC match. Bryan speaks down to the crowd for betraying him 3 years ago. He goes on a rant about the old Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement being dead. This is the new Daniel Bryan. Really good stuff here.

Randy Orton vs Rey Mysterio

Result: Randy dominated Rey before an RKO sees him off. After the match Randy take Mysterio’s mask as a trophy.

That’s it for Smackdown, and there were no promised changes following Smackdown’s embarrassment at Survivor Series. They trolled us again.
