In a surprise ending to Survivor Series: WarGames, CM Punk unexpectedly returned, sending the WWE Universe in Chicago into a frenzy.

Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Shotzi def. Damage CTRL in Survivor Series Wargames

Despite the evident animosity between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair prior to this intense match, their team’s undeniable chemistry proved too much for the new and improved Damage CTRL.

When The Queen and The Man began rolling, the tension seemed to fade, especially when they landed a double suplex and a powerbomb before letting out war cries and hugging it out. Lynch and Flair then caught SKY and Asuka in Dis-arm-her and Figure-Eight Leglocks, respectively.

Flair appeared to be about to spear Sane into oblivion, but Bayley pushed her partner out of the path and took the hit. Following a senton from Shotzi and a K.O.D. from Belair, Becky used the decisive Manhandle Slam to drive the defenceless Bayley into a table.

Gunther def. The Miz vis submission to retain the Intercontinental Title

The Miz was able to kick out of Gunther’s Powerbomb in a jaw-dropping moment, startling The Ring General and the Chicago audience.

The Miz kicked Gunther in the yambags before performing a Skull-Crushing Finale to nearly win the bout as The Awesome One distracted the referee by removing the top turnbuckle.

Gunther trapped The Miz in a Boston crab out of desperation, causing The A-Lister to tap out while simultaneously slamming his knee into the challenger’s spine.

Santos Escobar def. Dragon Lee

Santos Escobar’s savagery and barbarity continued following a great triumph against up-and-comer Dragon Lee.

Though Carlito was slated to battle Escobar in this match, Lee stepped in after the former LWO member put Carlito out with a brutal strike on his arm. After ruthlessly betraying Rey Mysterio a few weeks prior, Escobar had established his own path.

Lee debuted in his first WWE PLE by leaping over the top rope to temper Escobar’s ferocity.

Escobar demonstrated his wickedness by attempting to remove Lee’s mask.

Despite Lee’s strong performance, Escobar avoided him to strike a South of the Border Destroyer before landing the Phantom Driver to win.

Rhea Ripley def. Zoey Stark to retain the Women’s World Title

Zoey Stark faced Mami after winning the Battle Royal to challenge Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Stark blasted The Eradicator with a barrage of offence, but Ripley reclaimed momentum in the battle by throwing her into the ring post and smashing her to unconsciousness inside the ring.

Stark attempted a Z-360 to counter Mami’s offence, but Ripley ducked it and connected with the Riptide to maintain her championship and top spot on Raw.

Cody Rhodes, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso & Randy Orton def. The Judgment Day & Drew McIntyre in Survivor Series Wargames

With an aura of mystery surrounding the event, Randy Orton had yet to appear for his team when WarGames began.

Finn Bálor and Seth “Freakin” Rollins kicked off the chaotic WarGames Match, reigniting their summer feud.

Bálor was shortly joined by the newest Judgement Day member JD McDonagh, who arrived armed with Kendo sticks and utilised the wood to pound Rollins.

Following that, Jey Uso utilised the might of the “Yeet” to stomp McDonagh and Bálor.

Damian Priest then entered the savage structure, brandishing a baton and thwacking Rollins and Uso.

After after, Sami Zayn appeared for his second WarGames Match, quickly reclaiming several tables and having his opponents catch some Blue Thunder Bombs.

Drew McIntyre was up next, and his savagery left everyone on the mat reeling. The Scottish Warrior concentrated on his foe Uso, repeatedly pushing him into the steel. With a 1-D, Zayn and Uso were able to temporarily halt McIntyre’s offence.

For the first time, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes entered the WarGames fray, participating in a bout devised by his father, Dusty Rhodes.

Rhodes and Rollins used a bullrope to wipe out their opponents, a nod to their epic Hell in a Cell match last year.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio was met by a chorus of jeers from the Chi-Town WWE Universe as he entered the ring last for The Judgement Day. Mysterio was then met with a thrashing by the Rhodes’ quintet, which left him decimated on the mat.

McIntyre and Priest linked up by lifting Zayn, Rollins, and Rhodes for a double Chokeslam. McIntyre and The Judgement Day continued the attack proceeding with a Razor’s Edge through a table on Rollins.

Following considerable anticipation, Rhea Ripley, rather than Orton, entered the arena to attempt to cash in Priest’s Money in the Bank contract on a wounded Rollins. That was until The Viper himself came, to a thunderous shout from the crowd.

Survivor Series WarGames in full swing

WarGames officially begun with Orton in the fray.

Orton’s crew paid tribute to the future WWE Hall of Famer by hitting his iconic middle-rope hangman’s DDT.

Orton appeared to be about to pound the mat in preparation for an RKO, but he quickly shifted his focus to Jey Uso, one of the guys who brutally harmed him. Uso used a superkick to deflect a Priest assault before he could hit.

Orton hit an RKO on Mysterio before Rollins and Zayn pushed McDonagh from the top of the structure to Orton, who hit an enormous RKO precisely timed.

Rhodes then executed the Cross Rhodes on Priest to secure the victory for his team.
