Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa is slowly silencing critics with his big performances for the club this season.

Lepasa has already netted four goals in three games for the Buccaneers, and he’s definitely starting to win the hearts of the fans.

Following his season-long injury lay-off, Lepasa returned to the Pirates setup but he was often criticised for missing goals.

As a result, he was sent out to SuperSport United where he spent half the season on loan before Pirates recalled him in July.

SuperSport United wanted to keep Lepasa but Pirates told them they have plans for him, and subsequently registered him with the PSL.

And now, Pirates are repeating the rewards as Lepasa has already netted five goals in three competitive matches this season.

IS ZAKHELE LEPASA SLOWLY TAKING PSL BY STORM WITH ORLANDO PIRATES?

Lepasa fired blanks against Stellenbosch FC as Pirates lost 1-0 in the first match of the season, but he came back stronger in the second match.

He netted twice as Orlando Pirates hammered Royal AM 4-2 on Tuesday, and he has now hit a hat-trick against Sekhukhune United in the MTN8.

The hat-trick has taken Lepasa’s tally of goals to five in just three matches which is very impressive for a striker.

Now, Lepasa’s confidence is sky high, and Pirates can safely rely on him for goals but most importantly, his teammates must continue to give him the supply.
