Yanga boss heaps praise on Kaizer Chiefs defender

Young Africans president Engineer Hersi Ally Said has heaped praise on Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango.

Msimango joined the club this season ahead of next season from TS Galaxy and made his unofficial debut this weekend .

Msimango got his Amakhosi journey underway on Saturday afternoon at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Tanzania.

Kaizer Chiefs were defeated 1-0 by Tanzanian giants Young Africans, courtesy of a goal by Kennedy Musonda on the stroke of half-time.

Despite the loss, Msimango left his mark on the opposition’s top boss!

Kaizer Chiefs star impresses Yanga boss

“I’ve seen Given [Msimango], the central defender who was at TS Galaxy. Kaizer Chiefs have signed a quality player in him,” Hersi told FARPost.

“He looks like a modern defender with exceptional on-the-ball abilities. With the demands of the modern game ever increasing, defenders nowadays need to retain possession and stay calm and collected on the ball. He has those qualities.”

In other news, Given Msimango has heaped praise on Kaizer Chiefs following his dream move to the club.

The talented former TS Galaxy defender was unveiled as a new Glamour Boy ahead of next season.

Msimango has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the club thus far, a club none can compare to in his opinion!

“What has been outstanding, a key component is the standards you know. When I say cut above the rest, that’s what I associate Kaizer Chiefs with.” Msimango said as quoted by Citizen.

“Not only the badge but the way they do things, the way they run things on and off the pitch, down from your health, your diet, to your performance on the pitch.

“You know the detail that they focus on, sprint distances, top speed, all those small details that contribute to a person’s performance, they focus on.”
