Kaizer Chiefs returned to action on Saturday afternoon when they hosted Richards Bay FC at the FNB Stadium.

After a sluggish start, the game was sparked to life by Nkosingiphile Ngcobo five minutes before half-time.

Yusuf Maart found Ngcobo in a pocket of space before the diminutive midfielder drove forward and took a powerful shot at goal. His effort left Salim Magoola with no chance, nestling into the bottom corner.

At the time posting, the scoreline read 1-0 in favour of the hosts at half-time. Take a look at the goal below.

We have enough quality – Johnson

“Look I think we have enough quality in the team, I just think they have not been given enough opportunities as individuals and I think the way we assess them, or the way we analyse them as part of the Chiefs family,” Johnson told iDiskiTimes

“I think that needs to be a little better between myself and my coaching staff. Because then we can give them more, they can be more positive towards themselves.

“If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player. I think we need to get in their skin right now and there are good players.”
