“Very easy team to play against, very easy… you know them, we all know them, we know their advantages and disadvantages,” The Chippa United was quoted on iDiski Times said.

“One thing is for sure, don’t undermine them, they will hurt you hard, they are a big team, it’s not a joke, good signings. But one thing for sure, if they don’t get what they want in the first ten minutes, they get frustrated and that’s what we want to do.”

Chippa narrowly escaped relegation last season and will look for a strong start to the season. The Chilli Boys have brought in quality players like Goodman Mosele, Luvuyo Memela, Menzi Ndwandwe, Craig Martin and Augustine Mulenga.

Mammila has been very vocal this pre-season on the players he hoped to bring to the club. He says the team is in high spirits to start the new seasonin what he described as the hottest seat in PSL football.

“To be honest we had a [good] preparation [for the new season], if you compare last season and this season, I think we much better organisationally, experience-wise, than the previous season,” he said.

Mammila knows that results are key in the early stages of the season and should he fail to keep the Chilli Boys going, he might face Chippa Mpengesi’s sharp axe.
