Lorch wasted no time joining his new Sundowns teammates, as he was part and parcel of their Polokwane trip. Lorch impressing already at Sundowns

“Sundowns won 2-1 but Baroka should have capitalized on their chances, they failed to convert six one-on-one chances. There was nothing friendly about that match, Sundowns had two clear-cut chances and they capitalised on them. Sundowns brought all their first team players since they are in camp here in Limpopo, with the only ones missing being those who are still at the AFCON. Their goals were scored by Marcelo Allende and Lucas Ribeiro. Thembinkosi Lorch was a marvel to watch, that boy knows how to play football. He made an assist, but what killed Baroka the most were the runs that Lorch made. He played for only 45 minutes, in the second half both sides fielded different teams.” Confirmed the source.
