Tim Sukazi delivers a crushing transfer blow to Orlando Pirates! 

Orlando Pirates have cleared had their eye set on the talent that has been coming through from fellow PSL side TS Galaxy judging from their transfer activity.

Having already snapped up the services of goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi, Pirates have also been heavily linked with another Galaxy star in Bathusi Aubaas.

Aubaas has been one of the standout players at Galaxy, since the Ndebele-based club gained promotion to the DStv Premiership. Even in the season that has recently concluded, the defensive midfielder started 20 of his 26 appearances, while being able to lay an assist as well. Those are the type of performances that then caught the eye of Broos, who showed faith in him and placed him in his starting line up for the game against Morocco.

Fresh after making his Bafana Bafana debut, talk of his stellar performance only temporarily dominated the lips of many a football supporter in the country. What seemed to overshadow all of those positives, was the strange fact that Aubaas was written down as a Pirates player on the match program. when Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi caught wind that his player was being attached to Pirates, it understandably irked him. He then let his feelings be known on a tweet from his official account, blasting SAFA and demanding an apology.

It came at an awkward time where Aubaas has been rumoured to have been in talks to join Pirates from Galaxy. Now Sukazi has come out to quash any talk of discussions between the two clubs for the star. 

No negotiations between Pirates and Galaxy for Aubaas

“You can imagine the kind of commotion the uncertainty this creates, the talk in both games. At Pirates now there is an expectation that they deliver Aubaas, I suppose from their supporters – a player that they have not been negotiating about at all with TS Galaxy, We haven’t been approached on Aubaas, nothing. Of course, if anyone comes we’ll always engage. We are that club,” Sukazi said on Radio 2000 as per iDiski Times.

For Pirates fans, they will be focusing on the last sentence from Sukazi, while hoping their club will finally approach Galaxy for Aubaas.
