13-year-old striker Joshua Bowers has joined the Mamelodi Sundowns youth academy, according to outlet Football Stage on X. The young attacking midfielder is seemingly an all-rounder, chipping in with 24 goals and more than 30 assists in the calendar year 2023 as his side scooped a treble.

Bongani Zungu is allegedly the club’s top earner, taking home R700 000 per month, that’s according to a report on briefly.co.za. Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is taking home something in the region of R500 000 per month. 31-year-old midfielder Zungu has represented clubs in Portugal, France and Scotland on his travels.
