A quick scroll through his Instagram account will show several pictures of the star midfielder/striker wearing designer clothing and shoes.
In one the latest posts, Thembinkosi Lorch is pictured lacing up his Gucci shoes in the Mickey Mouse Ace range.
“Kill your fear and tighten up your shoelaces for the race ahead,” read the caption on his post
Lorch’s latest kicks – which are valued between R10 000 and R12 000 – were part of a recent collaboration between Disney and Gucci.

The idea is said to have been sparked by the Chinese “Year of the Mouse”.
Meanwhile, back on the field of play, Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer will be desperate to have Thembinkosi Lorch fit for Sunday’s Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs.
At this stage it’s unclear whether he will be fit for selection having been sidelined since late February with an ankle injury picked up against SuperSport United.
Kick-off at the FNB Stadium is scheduled for 15:00.
