SOCCER LIFE: Fans asked to cut Bafana some slack [VIDEO]

South African football icon Doctor Khumalo has had his say after Bafana Bafana’s shock loss away to Rwanda in the Fifa World Cup qualifiers. Khumalo felt that the state of the pitch was too great an obstacle for Bafana Bafana to overcome. Before the match, Hugo Broos had expressed his displeasure with the subpar artificial pitch, calling it “like playing on the street” and adding that heavy rain, especially in the first half, had made it worse. Broos has still been blasted on social media and Khumalo feels that this has been unfair.
