SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule is back in the news, and that’s because his reported move to Kaizer Chiefs is still the hot topic.

SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule is back in the news, and that’s because his reported move to Kaizer Chiefs is still the hot topic.

Mbule was heavily reported to be on his way to Chiefs last week, with reports claiming that he had already signed with the club.

However, the reports were dismissed by both his cosch Kaitano Tembo and agent Mike Makaab who made it clear that the midfielder had not signed with anyone.

Mbule isn’t only wanted by Chiefs as Mamelodi Sundowns are also reported to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

Of course, SuperSport United have made it clear that their preference is to see Mbule and Teboho Mokoena move abroad.

  1. Mbule was born on 22 March 1998 in Bethlehem, Free State.
  2. He became a professional footballer with SuperSport United in 2017.
  3. Interestingly, Mbule played for the Orlando Pirates reserve team for a season (2015/16) before joining SuperSport United.
  4. He is a full Bafana Bafana international with three caps to his name.
  5. Mbule, who wears the No.24 jersey at SuperSport, missed the 2021 Tokyo Olympics due to unspecified medical reasons.
