There are set to be plenty of changes at Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the current season.

These changes could see Chiefs with a different playing personnel as well as coach.

Chiefs are set to have yet another failed season without any silver, seeing their trophy draught extend to nine years. On top of that, the club have lost both Soweto Derbies to Orlando Pirates and are in danger of finishing outside the top four. Should that happen, one would expect for a few heads to start rolling.

Should Chiefs finish the next season without a trophy, it will mark an unwanted milestone of 10 years without a trophy. The fans have already demonstrated their displeasure at various stages of the draught. Should it get to 10 years, it could lead to a revolt.

In order to stop this from happening, the Chiefs management will have to make some drastic decisions. That could see a technical staff overhaul, a superstar coach coming in and a large exodus of the playing staff. Now according to infamous X account Rushsportson, the club has already decided to offload six players.

Six to be offloaded by Chiefs

Those players are Luke Fleurs, Siyethemba Sithebe, Tebogo Potsane, Jasond Gonzales, Ranga Chivaviro and Mduduzi Mdantsane. What is striking is that five of the six players were signed by Chiefs just this season. It is only Sithebe that was signed ahead of the previous season.

What should be even more alarming for Chiefs is that, their recruitment system seems to be failing. Either that or they have not made the right coaching appointment. Rushsportson is known to be more on the tabloid side and is more miss than hit. But what cannot be denied is that all six names have done very little to justify their future at the club. Perhaps Fleurs can cry foul and say he was not given an opportunity. The flip side of that, however, is that he has not shown enough in training to deserve that.

All have made very little impact

Do any of these six players deserve another season at Naturena, Chiefs fans?
