A top-eight spot is at stake as Bloemfontein Celtic host Kaizer Chiefs at Peter Mokaba Stadium after being ordered away from their hometown for the rest of the season.
Phunya Sele Sele suffered the PSL’s wrath following crowd violence at Dr Molemela Stadium, which forced their last home game into abandonment.
They now turn their attention away from off-the-pitch matters, and they will look to add to the victory from their last outing which was achieved on their temporary home venue.
Goals from Kabelo Dlamini and Ndumiso Mabena gave the Free State outfit a rare victory against Polokwane City where they ran off 2-1 winners.
The duo are expected to be in the mix once more against Amakhosi, with Mabena no doubt looking to find the bet, as he did in the reverse fixture.
For Chiefs, an unchanged team is out of the question, with at least one man who started in the 1-1 draw against Golden Arrows guaranteed not to start.
Pule Ekstein and the club parted ways earlier in the week, and a replacement is set to slot into the starting XI.
Despite off-the-field distraction, coach Ernst Middendorp has reiterated that it’s still business as usual.
“We are here to do business,” Middendorp told the Kaizer Chiefs website.
“We don’t check too much on what other teams are doing, we are solely focused on our own game plan.
“The aim remains to collect as many points as possible, so that we will be in a better position at the end of the league season.”
