PSL lays misconduct charges against Chiefs after fan riot
It doesn’t rain but pours for Kaizer Chiefs who are charged by the PSL for misconduct after their 1-0 loss to TS Galaxy on Sunday.

Following the ugly scenes that occurred at Mbombela Stadium after Kaizer Chiefs loss to TS Galaxy, the PSL lays misconduct charges against Amakhosi.
According to a local football publication, iDiski Times, Chiefs have been charged by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for misconduct.

The PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu has confirmed that Chiefs will appear before the PSL DC on August 29 as they face misconduct charges for their fan misbehaviour.
Angry Chiefs fans vented out at the coach, Molefi Ntseki as they lost the DStv Premiership encounter to the Rockets in Mbombela on Sunday.
PSL LAYS MISCONDUCT CHARGES AGAINST CHIEFS
After the match, Amakhosi fans were seen throwing objects in the direction of Ntseki after Amakhosi suffered a 1-0 defeat to Galaxy.

While The South African understands that no one got injured, the league has now pressed charges and Chiefs will appear before the DC next week.
“I confirm that I preferred charges of misconduct against Kaizer Chiefs Football Club,” said Majavu.
“This is as a result of a ‘missile-throwing incident’ that transpired in a match between themselves and TS Galaxy this past Sunday.
“They have been scheduled to appear before the PSL DC on Tuesday, 29 August.

“Once the DC has pronounced it’s verdict and the matter is finalised, I will then give then give a further update.”
COACH NTSEKI ADMITS HE IS UNHAPPY, PSL LAYS CHARGES
The South African recently reported that after the match, Ntseki admitted that he has had a scrappy start to the new season and that they will go back to the drawing board to rectify their errors.

Amakhosi fans were unhappy with Ntseki’s decision to keep fielding goalkeeper Brandon Petersen who conceded an own goal against Galaxy.
While they have clinched an MTN8 semi-final spot by beating Cape Town City, Chiefs have lost to Mamelodi Sundowns and also drawn to Chippa United so far.
“It has been an up and down kind of start. It has been both hot and cold,” said Ntseki when asked about the start of his first season as head coach.
