Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki is beaming with confidence that his team is slowly progressing after beating Sekhukhune United.
Chiefs bounced back from two draws and as many defeats in all competitions – they registered a 2-1 win versus Sekhukhune on Wednesday – Ntseki now praises his team.

Heading to Moses Mabhida Stadium to face Sekhukhune, Chiefs were still licking their wounds after an MTN8 exit.

NTSEKI ON WHY CHIEFS ARE SLOWLY PROGRESSING
The Wafa Wafa 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium left a bitter pill to swallow for Chiefs and the fans but they showed character in Durban.
Babina Noko netted first in the league tie, but Ntseki’s troops displayed a great deal of resilience and scored two goals in the half to secure the full three points.

“I think it’s more of a build-up, if one takes a look at the last three matches we played in terms of the application and implementation of the tactical approach, I think we are progressing,” Ntseki said per IOL.
“Even (against Sekhukhune), as much as we conceded first, we showed resilience to get the equalising goal and the winner, but the most important thing is how we address those moments.
“I think the most important thing now is the attitude, the confidence and the courage that we showed today and taking it into the next game.”
CHIEFS MIDFIELDER ADDRESSES STRUGGLES AT NATURENA
The South African recently reported that midfielder George Matlou is looking to cement his place under Ntseki.

Fresh from a spate of injuries, Matlou said his progress was seriously hampered at Naturena but he is working hard to become a regular.
“It is just hard work,” Matlou is quoted by iDiski Times.
“Of course, I didn’t have the best start last season, unfortunately, I got injured. Injuries were there for me last season but I just make sure that whenever I’m given a chance, I’m just going to use it.
“No matter how many minutes I play, what matters most is me playing, giving my best.”

Amakhosi will now return to league action against Cape Town City in a home game at FNB Stadium next Tuesday, October 03.
